South Africa international Tazmin Brits will be back in South East Stars colours in 2024.

The 33-year-old will join the squad before the season opener against Southern Vipers at Beckenham on 20 April and will remain with the Stars till the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy fixture versus Sunrisers at Beckenham on 14 July.

Fans will be able to catch Brits in action for the first 10 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy matches and throughout the Charlotte Edwards Cup, which begins for the Stars on 19 May away at Bristol against Western Storm.

The hard-hitting batter made an instant impact last summer. In four 50-over outings, she piled up 214 runs at an average of 107 while striking over 133. Her 66-ball century at Beckenham against Sunrisers was a standout performance.

Brits, who was once a junior world champion in javelin, has represented South Africa in 21 ODIs and 45 IT20s till now, with a century and nine half-centuries to her name across formats.
